The AI tool I use frequently in my day-to-day has to be Google Image Search. I learned that it is powered by AI recently, and it is truly such a useful tool when you want to know the name/learn more information about something, and all you need to do is take a photo of it. Usually, thousands of results show up that pertain to the exact item, or ones that look like it. It's extremely helpful and takes so much weight and time off my plate that would have been spent searching. 

I have not used ChatGPT yet, surprisingly enough. I have heard both good and bad things about it, but mostly it has been quite helpful in gathering information. In one of my classes, a classmate used it to act as a flashcard device that helped her study for an upcoming test. I would like to try it out of the days so I should look more into that.

I definitely think that AI tools can enhance productivity. If used right and more as an add-on for help or information, it can lead to more concise and well...productive times. Like I said before, Google Image Search is an AI tool that I often use that has aided me a lot in recognizing items and being able to locate them. This would help in my teaching job if we went to a park or some nature area for a field trip and the Google AI tool could be used to take photos of plants or animals that are seen by students, and the tool can come up with lengthy biographies all about the organisms and there's a lesson right there.

A Few Things About Me

I love reading. It is one of my hobbies that has been with me since middle school. If I'm not reading, most likely I am daydreaming about book plots, books I've read, books I am reading and would like to continue, or characters I've read before and liked. Since I am planning to be an author for my career, spending a good amount of time learning from some wonderful novelists does not seem to be completely negative, as they help me gain ideas about what I would like to write...and not write.  Last semester, I was in a Computer & Speech Technique class where we also used technology to make blogs about different topics that were assigned. Most were related to online activities like cyberbullying and keeping your personal information safe. The class helped me gain experience with avoiding uncredible sources on the internet as well as safety online. Copyright and fair use is a tricky thin line that I struggled with a lot when creating my own works. Sometimes things are copyrighted that you didn't even know belonged to someone else. I would essentially teach my students about the importance of knowing about copyright and the consequences that can come along with misusing someone else's work. However, I would encourage further for them to make their own personal creations, and if they do choose to include aspects of someone else's, give credit when it is due. Just don't make someone else's work yours entirely.  Decreased productivity seems to hinder education the most in my opinion due to technology based off of prior experience. A way I would increase my student's productivity in the classroom would be to assign times within the class to work with no distractions and free time.
